The College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) will mark its 35th Foundation Anniversary on March 19 (Tuesday) with a Holy Mass at the Sancta Maria Stella Orientis (SMSO) Oratory at 12:05 pm.
March 19 is also the Solemnity of St. Joseph, the patron saint of CAS. *Saint Josemaría Escrivá, founder of Opus Dei, considered Saint Joseph a teacher of interior life in that life of intense and humble work. "For he teaches us to know Jesus and share our life with him, and to realize that we are part of God's family. Saint Joseph "can teach us these lessons, because he is an ordinary man, a family man, a worker who earned his living by manual labor—all of which has great significance and is a source of happiness for us." The figure of Saint Joseph also speaks to us of the need to be always apostolic, for he knew how to turn his work into an opportunity to "make Jesus known."
CAS would like to thank everyone in the UA&P community for their support and cooperation through the years.
