Economics seminars & case competition for SHS students

The Business Economics Association (BEA) of the UA&P School of Economics invites senior high school students to the Economic Visionaries Seminars & Case Competition with the theme “Understanding the World Through an Economic Lens.”

The event is a series of seminars on the basics of economics that will take place on April 27 and May 4 (Saturdays) via Zoom. As a culminating activity for the invited students, a modified case competition that will be centered on the industry analysis of popular culture will be held on May 11 (Saturday) at the Telengtan Hall, University of Asia and the Pacific.

The seminars will revolve around the basics of the 10 principles of economics, macroeconomics, microeconomics, and industry analysis. This will help the students appreciate news about business and the economy, equipping them with the 'economic lens' with which to view various social issues. The students would need to attend the seminars for both days, wherein the mechanics of the case competition will be revealed on the second day.

Registration for the event is now open, and we encourage you to secure your place by following this link.
