The Center for Teaching and Learning invites all faculty members to take part in a two-day seminar-workshop titled “Emotionally Intelligent Teaching: Cultivating Connection, Care, and Growth in the UA&P Classroom.”
The workshop will be facilitated by Dr. Celerino Tiongco, UA&P Emeritus Associate Professor, whose wealth of experience and deep understanding of emotionally intelligent pedagogy will guide participants through insightful discussions and practical applications.
Scheduled for August 6 and 8 (Wednesday & Friday) from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm, the sessions will be held at the Executive Cafe Meeting Rooms.

The Office of Sports Development of the Center for Student Affairs has rescheduled Athletes’ Night 2025 to August 8, 2025 (Friday).
The event, which aims to honor the dedication, achievements, and sportsmanship of the University’s varsity teams, will still be held at the Celestino Dizon Auditorium. Refreshments and a photo booth will be available starting at 3:30 pm, followed by the program proper at 5:00 pm. Attendees are reminded to come in semi-formal attire.

All female faculty and staff are invited to the Meditation for Women on August 12 (Tuesday) from 3:30 pm to 4:00 pm at the ALB Oratory.
This 30-minute monthly meditation offers a meaningful pause from the day to reflect, pray, and listen to a short spiritual talk that can guide and inspire. The meditation will be led by Fr. Alfred Cruz.
Immediately after the meditation, a merienda get-together will be held at the Executive Café.

The School of Education and Human Development invites educators to a Continuing Professional Development-accredited seminar-workshop titled "Writing Stories for the Classroom" on September 20 (Saturday) from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm at the Telengtan Hall.
This hands-on, one-day workshop will equip participants with storytelling principles and strategies that they can apply immediately in their teaching. Educators will learn how to transform their lessons into engaging narratives that spark deeper learning.
The session will be facilitated by CAS professor Dr. Joem Antonio and SED professor Dr. Nina Aunario.
