Faculty lecture on human-centered change framework

 

The School of Education and Human Development invites everyone to its Quarterly Faculty Lecture Series on June 5 (Wednesday) from 5:45 pm to 7:00 pm via Zoom. Dr. Dae Hyuk Lee, founder of The Fourth Wall, will talk about a new human-centered change framework that goes beyond VUCA and BANI.

UA&P Law Vice Dean speaks at UN on family life

 

UA&P Law Vice Dean Atty. Diosdado Marasigan addressed the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs at the UN Headquarters in New York City on May 15, 2024, on the 30th anniversary of the UN Declaration of the Year of the Family.

Speaking as a member of the International Federation for Family Development, Atty. Marasigan highlighted the significance of family life in the Philippines, with households often comprising extended family members. "Family, as the cornerstone of Filipino culture, plays a central role in shaping individual identity and fostering social cohesion.”

CAS prof publishes "Things to Get Us By"

 

Eight-time Palanca awardee and College of Arts and Sciences associate professor Dr. Joachim Emilio Antonio recently published his short story, "Things to Get Us By," a 100-word story capturing the turning point encounter between a taxi driver and an old lady. The story can be accessed online in the 41st issue of Fairfield Scribes.

 

 

LTO-NCR off-site vehicle registration

 

The Land Transportation Office-National Capital Region (LTO-NCR) will have an off-site vehicle registration on May 27 (Monday) at the OCAI Building Grounds along Garnet Road, Ortigas Center from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm.
