Prohibition against eating inside the classrooms

 

The Assets and Facilities Management Group (AFM) would like to remind all students that eating inside the classrooms is strictly prohibited. This policy aims to reduce waste left in the classrooms and help maintain a clean, pest-free environment. 

Students are encouraged to use these designated eating areas:

  • University Student Commons
  • DCB Plaza
  • University Cafeteria
  • ALB Extension 1 and 2

DTT Advisory: Year-End Change Freeze

 

The Digital Transformation and Technology Office (formerly ICT Office) will implement a change freeze from December 21, 2024, to January 4, 2025. During this time, no changes, updates, or configuration modifications to UA&P systems, applications, or infrastructure will be allowed. This is to minimize the risk of outages that may arise from changes to the university's information technology environment.

Server maintenance on January 5

 

The Digital Transformation & Technology Office (formerly Information & Communication Technologies Office) would like to inform everyone that there will be a scheduled downtime on our servers on January 5, 2025 (Sunday) at 9:00 pm. 

The EmpowerED and database server will undergo a scale-up to enhance its performance and prevent any potential slowdowns during the upcoming 2nd semester enrollment period. The downtime will last up to one hour.

During the interruption, the EmpowerED system will be unavailable.

Server maintenance on December 20

 

The Digital Transformation & Technology Office (formerly Information & Communication Technologies Office) would like to inform everyone that there will be a scheduled preventive maintenance on our on-premise servers on December 20 (Friday) from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm.

Housekeeping schedule during Christmas break

 

Please be informed that from December 19, 2024, to January 4, 2025, housekeeping personnel will be on-site from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm to conduct general cleaning of offices, venues, and comfort rooms. During this period, the use of comfort rooms will be limited. Only the ground-floor washrooms in all buildings will be available.

For employees who need to work on-site and require assistance from AFM, kindly submit your requests in advance so that the Housekeeping Department can make the necessary arrangements.
