Three members of the Center for Student Affairs (CSA) presented their studies on student well-being at the 7th International Conference organized by IASAS Global in Daegu, South Korea, from May 21 to 25, with the theme "Education Institutions and Student Affairs Driving Sustainable Change."

CSA Executive Director Dr. Cecilia Resurreccion and CSA Operations Committee Secretary Ms. Ma. Concha de la Cruz presented in-person their paper on "Measuring Wellness and Human Flourishing in Student Affairs Programs and Services." Their study, which focused on assessing the impact of programs and services on students’ holistic development, aimed to illustrate a replicable process for Student Affairs (SA) professionals in capturing the dimension of well-being from both emic and etic perspectives, thereby supporting the effective mentoring of student well-being in practice.

On the other hand, Ms. Karla Ava Marie Lozano, head of the CSA-Office of Student Mentoring, presented virtually her research titled "The Experience of Mentoring, Its Perceived Role and Their Impact on the Development of Professional Competencies Among UA&P Graduates."

The summit emphasized the crucial role of educating and supporting students in creating sustainable change. It also examined institutional, associational, and organizational responses to these efforts.
