The Character Revolution: Beyond Academics, Back to the Heart of Teaching

The School of Education and Human Development invites you to a seminar titled "The Character Revolution: Beyond Academics, Back to the Heart of Teaching" on March 7 (Saturday) from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm at the Li Seng Giap Auditorium.

This full-day seminar aims to equip Filipino educators with the mindset, tools, and strategies necessary to become effective agents of character formation in the classroom.

Grounded in the internationally recognized PRIMED framework by Dr. Marvin Berkowitz and enriched by the speaker’s extensive experience in character education across Asia, this course emphasizes the central role of the teacher in shaping not just minds, but hearts and habits.

Through practical examples, real-life stories, interactive workshops, and reflective activities, participants will rediscover the deeper meaning of their vocation as educators and learn how to create a character-rich classroom culture. The seminar will also introduce the principles behind the School of Character Accreditation and inspire teachers to become catalysts of positive change within their schools and communities.

Designed especially for Filipino teachers across all subject areas and grade levels, this program ensures that character education becomes not one more thing to teach—but the very way great teachers teach everything.
