UA&P plans to produce an electronic photo album and a coffee table book in remembrance of the recent visit to UA&P of Msgr. Fernando Ocáriz, Prelate of Opus Dei and Honorary Grand Chancellor of UA&P. We invite everyone who had taken photos of/with him and of the activities he attended in UA&P to contribute their photos. Kindly indicate the date, venue (LSG, SMSO, etc.), event, and a brief description of the people in the photo/s.

The 25th Freshman Incorporation Rites will be held on October 6, 2023 (Friday), from 4:30 - 6:00 p.m. at the Li Seng Giap Auditorium (2/F ACB, UA&P). The Incorporation Rites is an academic ceremony during which the freshmen are formally incorporated or inducted into the University, as signified by the imposition of a white beca bearing the CAS seal.
All first-year students of the 4-Year Programs, 5-Year Programs, 6-Year Programs, and 7-Year Program are required to attend the event.

Setyembre 20, 2023 – Matagumpay na idinaos ang Tertúlya sa Hápon sa Executive Meeting Room 1 ng UA&P mula 1:30 hanggang 3:30 ng hapon. Pinangunahan ito ng UA&P Kagawaran ng Filipino katuwang ang mga guro ng Literature Department at Philosophy Department. Kasama rin online ang mga guro ng Unibersidad ng Santo Tomas (UST) - Sentro sa Salin at Araling Salin (SAAS).
Layon ng nasabing pagtitipon na talakayin ang saysay ng mga sinaunang pilosopiya, maging ang mga akda nina Dante at Shakespeare, upang makatulong sa proyektong pagsasalin ng mga akdang pang-Humanidades na “Ars Poetica” ni Horace, “On the Sublime” ni Longinus, at “On the Intellectual Beauty” ni Plotinus. Pinagtitibay rin nito ang tatak-humanidades ng College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) ng UA&P na tunguhin ng gawaing pagsasalin.
Nagsimula ang programa sa pagbibigay ng oryentasyon sa Proyektong Pagsasalin ng tagapangulo ng Kagawaran ng Filipino na si Dr. Moreal N. Camba. Sinundan ito ng mga panayam sa “Pilosopiya ng mga sinaunang Greek” ni Bb. Zyra Lentija ng Philosophy Department, “Humanities at si Dante” ni Gng. Meryl Hernandez, at “Humanities at si Shakespeare” ni Dr. Joachim Emilio Antonio na kapuwa guro ng Literature Department. Bilang pangwakas ay nagkaroon ng malayang talakayan sa pagitan ng mga guro ng CAS.
Ang gawaing ito ay pagpapatuloy ng UA&P-UST Seminar Worksyap sa Pagsasalin noong Setyembre 2, 2023. Bahagi ito ng "Ang Paglalakbay nina Horace, Longinus, at Plotinus tungong Filipinas: Proyektong Pagsasalin ng mga piling Tekstong Griyego," ang proyektong pagsasalin ng Kagawaran ng Filipino na kabilang sa mga napiling pananaliksik ng Center for Research and Communication Foundation, Inc. (CRCFI).
