The University of Asia and the Pacific is pleased to welcome six European exchange students from its partner universities for the first semester of the 2025–2026 academic year.
The students from France’s IRCOM are Joséphine Myriam Caroline Duyrat-Petry, Arthur Pierre Bapt, Faustine Constance Philippine Giletti, and Maguellonne Marie Aude Marthe Jean-Paul-II Chouvet.
From Spain, UA&P welcomes María Iparraguirre Ayerdi from the Universidad de Navarra and Ignacio Aliño Carbonell from the Universidad Católica de Valencia.
All will be at UA&P for the semester, with Mr. Carbonell staying for the full academic year. Their presence enriches the academic community and reflects UA&P’s ongoing commitment to global education and cultural exchange.

The University of Asia and the Pacific (UA&P) has officially signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with EduSuite, a leading provider of AI-driven school management systems, marking a significant step in the University's ongoing commitment to innovation and operational excellence.
Held at the UA&P campus on August 8, the ceremony brought together key leaders from both institutions to affirm their shared vision of transforming educational services through smart, scalable, and student-centered technology.
In his welcome remarks, Atty. John Philip Yeung, incoming President of UA&P, underscored the University’s commitment to excellence in all aspects of its operations.
“EduSuite is the best in the industry, and UA&P only wants to work with the best,” Atty. Yeung said. “We want to narrow down processes that take one month to one day. We look forward to this partnership.”
The MOA was formally signed by Dr. Winston Conrad Padojinog, outgoing UA&P President, and Mr. Niel Dagondon, President of EduSuite. Witnessing the signing were Dr. Fe Gladys Golo, incoming Vice President for Academic and Faculty Affairs of UA&P, and Ms. Nikki Villaluna, Business Growth Manager of EduSuite.
“We’re honored that you put your faith in EduSuite,” Mr. Dagondon expressed. “We’re excited that finally things are taking off. EduSuite is here to serve. Let’s start building together — for the faculty, our students, and the entire UA&P community.”
EduSuite’s AI-powered system will support UA&P in optimizing critical academic and administrative processes, including online enlistment, enrollment, and scheduling.
Dr. Padojinog, in his closing remarks, emphasized the strategic importance of the partnership.
“This is a very important MOA with far-reaching implications for the University,” he noted. “We have come full circle, and we feel confident working with EduSuite. We are improving our systems on behalf of our students and our employees, and I’m sure we’re in good hands.”
The signing of the MOA signifies a strong commitment to harnessing technology in advancing education and lays the foundation for a future-ready UA&P.

Everyone is invited to the University Day Lecture on August 14 (Thursday) at 10:00 am at the Li Seng Giap Auditorium.
UA&P Full Professor Dr. Veronica E. Ramirez from the School of Education and Human Development will deliver a lecture entitled “Filipino Diaspora: Lessons Learned from the Journey.”
After the lecture, the launch of the University Research Agenda (URA) and the presentation of the 2025 Awards for Publication of Scholarly Work will take place. The awards recognize and encourage the excellent research and creative work of our full-time employees, highlighting their significant contributions to their respective fields and the academic community.
Classes and work of those who wish to attend the lecture and awards may be shortened or suspended from 10:00 am to 12 pm.
