Everyone is encouraged to support the donation drive of the University Student Government (USG) and its emergency and disaster response committee, UA&P HOPES, for the communities affected by Typhoon Kristine.

Sports Development head elected president of MNCAA Season 20

 

Center for Student Affairs - Office of Sports Development (CSA-OSP) Head Jemima Katrina "Mec" C. Fajardo was unanimously elected as president of the 20th Season of the Men’s National Collegiate Athletic Association (MNCAA).

The MNCAA, an athletic association in the Philippines exclusively for men, was founded in 2004 and is the direct counterpart of the older Women's National Collegiate Athletic Association (WNCAA) founded in 1970. The MNCAA events include basketball, volleyball, futsal, badminton, table tennis, and hiphop.

In a letter addressed to UA&P President Dr. Winston Conrad Padojinog, the Secretary General of the Board of Trustees of WNCAA/MNCAA, Ma. Angelica S. Dela Cruz, said, "We would like to thank you, UA&P, for all the support you unselfishly shared to the success of these two associations: the WNCAA and MNCAA, and congratulate you for the person of Mec, who will be sharing her leadership style to all member schools."

Coach Mec will serve the association, together with the rest of the officers, for AY 2024-2025. 

 

APE for UA&P students extended to October 31

 

UA&P students under the 4-Year, 5-Year, 6-Year, and 7-Year Programs are given a final extension to undergo and complete their Annual Physical Exam (APE) for S.Y. 2024-2025 until October 31 (Thursday) only.

Students who do not comply with this directive or who do not complete the APE within the given schedule shall be dealt with in accordance with the Code of Student Discipline, which lists non-compliance with a school directive as a Type B offense.

No further extension will be granted. 

ISAA Season 16 Opening Ceremonies and Games

 

The CSA - Office of Sports Development (OSP) invites everyone to come and support the UA&P varsity teams as they kick off Season 16 of the Inter-Scholastic Athletic Association (ISAA) games on October 24 (Thursday) at the FilOil Eco Centre Arena in San Juan City.

The UA&P Men's Basketball Team will play their first game on October 24 at 2:30 pm, with a special halftime performance by the UA&P Firestarters. Tickets for the game, priced at 150 pesos, can be bought through the OSP Office on the 4th floor of the Parking & Sports Building or at the ticket booth located in the University Student Commons (USC) from October 21 to 23.

Applications now open for MPE - Evening Program (2nd Sem, SY 2024-2025)

 

The Master in Political Economy (MPE) Program is accepting applicants for the second semester of A.Y. 2024-2025. The deadline for applications is November 29, 2024 (Friday).

MPE is an evening program designed to equip students with the knowledge and analytical skills to understand increasingly complex social realities using political, economic, historical, and sociological perspectives, and to make holistic decisions and exercise effective leadership.

The program offers a hybrid learning mode for SY 2024-2025 and fully online classes for out-of-town and out-of-the-country students.
