Online Filing of Graduation Clearance 2021

  1. Due to the ongoing community quarantine, filing of graduation clearance for SY  2020-2021 will be done using an ONLINE facility, starting May 4, 2021 (Tuesday). Only students who sent applications for graduation will be allowed to access the Graduation Clearance Dashboard. The deadline for completing the clearance is set on July 16, 20201 (Friday).
  2. The Units listed in the Graduation Clearance Dashboard have requirements that need to be complied with before one is cleared. Fulfillment of said requirements is personally verified by assigned Unit personnel authorized as clearance approvers. The Units included are:
    • University Library (LIB)
    • Center for Student Affairs (CSA)
    • Discipline (Note: Discipline clearance is verified by CSA)
    • Office of Alumni Affairs (OAA)
    • AFM – General Services Section (GSS)
    • Financial Management and Reporting Group (FMR)
    • Registrar’s Office (REG) in coordination with the Program Directors/AAs
  1. Access the Graduation Clearance Dashboard by following these instructions:
    1. Go to https://dragon.uap.asia and sign in using your uap.asia account
    2. Click the “Graduation Clearance” tab on the top menu
    3. When the page loads, check the list of clearance requirements per unit
    4. Accomplish all the listed requirements
    5. Once these requirements have been accomplished, please check the dashboard from time to time to verify which units have cleared you
  1. For FMR clearance, the approver will determine whether you may claim a refund, or if you still have accountabilities. This will be reflected in the Graduation Clearance Dashboard.

 

Graduation Fee Refund

A partial refund will be given to students who have already paid the Graduation Fee. The University shall retain only the amount of One Thousand Two Hundred Fifty pesos (Php 1,250) to cover the cost of clearance processing, diploma, transcript of record, documentary stamp, and mailing within the Philippines. You may apply for your refund by filling out the form found at the Graduation Fee Payment/Refund tab in the Graduation Clearance Portal.

For those who have applied for the graduation fee refund through the portal, please also submit the following bank account details to Ms. Christina Coral of FMR at [email protected].

      1. Bank Account Name
      2. Bank Account No
      3. Name of Bank

Your refund will be deposited online to your bank account through BPI Bizlink.

There will be a P50.00 service charge for Non-BPI bank accounts.

 

Graduation Fee Payment and/or Unsettled Balance

For those who need to pay the ACTUAL Graduation Fee (Php 1,250) or any other unsettled balance, please remit your payment to either of the following accounts:

B-1. For those who have unsettled tuition fees please check your balance in EmpowerED Portal.

B-2.  Please make a separate deposit slip or transaction for the Clearance Fee and unsettled Tuition/Miscellaneous Fee. ONE DEPOSIT SLIP FOR BOTH TRANSACTIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED BY THE SYSTEM

B-3.  Please upload your proof of payment for your Tuition Fee balance to EmpowerED Portal.

B-4.  For the proof of payment of the Clearance Fee please upload it via the Graduation Clearance Dashboard, under the Graduation Fee Payment/Refund tab, and email it also to [email protected]  with the subject “CLEARANCE”.  The cashier will issue the OR after receipt of your email.

  1. The final reckoning of those who will graduate will be monitored by the Program Directors, in close collaboration with REG.
  2. Deliberation for honor graduates shall commence after securing the final list of qualified graduating students.
  3. NO CLEARANCE, NO GRADUATION. Please email Mr. John Lester Tancio of the Registrar’s Office at [email protected] and [email protected] if you have queries.
  4. For the Graduating Batch of 2021, we shall have the online ceremony on August 14, 2021 (Saturday) to mark this important milestone in your life. We shall keep you posted.

General Assembly for Graduating Students 2021 (Undergraduate and Graduate Programs)
Graduating Students Batch 2021 will have its General Assembly to be held on April 17, 2021 (Saturday), 10:00 a.m., via Zoom. Requirements and guidelines for graduation will be explained during the assembly.
Students must file a formal application as candidates for graduation using the online form that can be accessed through this link: http://go.uap.asia/onlineapplicationbatch2021. Please accomplish the online application form on or before May 21, 2021 (Friday).
The University Registrar, in consultation with the Program Directors concerned, shall then inquire into the academic records of the applicants to ascertain whether any candidate applying for graduation has pending deficiencies and whether s/he has fulfilled all other requirements to be a candidate for graduation.
A complete list of duly qualified candidates for graduation is released before the mid-year starts.
For those with classes during the scheduled orientation, please let us know in REG so we may inform your teachers.
