UA&P-SEMRI is seeking student interns to help implement three research projects in collaboration with local and international partner universities, national government agencies, and the private sector on the Electrification of informal public transport (Project 1); the Urban and maritime logistics in the Philippines: Evolution towards the physical internet (Project 2); and the Property value capture for public transport development in the Philippines (Project 3).

Established in December 2021, SEMRI (Science Engineering and Management Research Institute) is a collaboration between the School of Sciences and Engineering and the School of Management of UA&P. Its vision is to be a leading trans- and multi-disciplinary research institute on the theme of societal innovation and sustainability in the Global South, using a variety of qualitative and quantitative methods. Its mission is to advance sustainable development goals in the Global South through research, technology, and policies.
The UA&P faculty and staff are invited to the sixth session of Ask Father on December 7 (Wednesday) from 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm. The session will be conducted onsite at Case Room 1, ALB. Fr. Emmanuel Garrido will answer questions related to angels and demons.
Ask Father is an opportunity for faculty and staff to get together and deepen their understanding of specific moral or doctrinal teachings of the Catholic Church. Those who wish to attend may register here.
