Dear Students, we want to remind everyone to stay alert and take steps to protect yourself and others from the flu.
Here are some things you can do:
1. Wash your hands often.
Use soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after coughing, sneezing, or touching shared surfaces.
2. Cover your mouth and nose.
When coughing or sneezing, use a tissue or your elbow — not your hands. Wearing a well-fitted face mask can help lower the risk of respiratory virus transmission.
3. Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
Keep a safe distance to reduce the spread of germs.
4. Stay home when you're unwell.
If you have a fever, cough, sore throat, or body aches, rest and recover to prevent spreading illness to others. Please refer to these Guidelines for Processing Excuse Slips for Absences due to Sickness (bit.ly/ExcuseSlip-Sickness-Guidelines) and the Excuse Slip Application Form for Absences due to Sickness (bit.ly/uapESAF-2025-26).
5. Get vaccinated.
A flu shot — and other recommended vaccines — are your best defense against serious illness.

The University Library (LIB), in collaboration with the School of Management (SMN), the School of Economics (SEC), and the School of Sciences, Engineering, and Technology (SSE), successfully launched the LSEG Data and Analytics Mini Lab on October 7 (Tuesday) at PAC 1, 4th Level, LIB. The event highlighted the University’s latest step toward enhancing access to world-class financial and data analytics resources through the London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) subscription.
The LSEG subscription equips the UA&P community with comprehensive access to global financial data, market analytics, economic indicators, and company intelligence. It serves as a vital resource supporting programs such as the SMN's Master in Applied Business Analytics (MABA) and BS in Business Administration with Specialization in Business Analytics (BSBA-BA), SSE's Data Science, SEC's Business Economics and Industrial Economics, and other academic programs. This empowers students and faculty to harness data-driven insights for research, instruction, and informed decision-making.
The event featured a brief program and ribbon-cutting ceremony, followed by a hands-on introduction to the LSEG Workspace, allowing participants to explore its robust features designed to transform the way users interact with data and analytics.
Explore the guides and resources through the links below to make the most of your LSEG access.

The Arts Department, in collaboration with the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA), invites the UA&P community to "Voices in Silver: Artisan Narratives and the Continuity of the Pukpuk Art Tradition."
Join us on October 15 (Wednesday) from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Dizon Auditorium for a live demonstration of the 'pukpuk' (pinukpuk) silversmithing technique by Mr. Eduardo Mutuc Jr., who continues the legacy of his father, Eduardo Tubig Mutuc Sr., a Manlilikha ng Bayan (National Living Treasure) awardee.
This is more than a craft demonstration—it is an encounter with cultural heritage, human creativity, and the relationship between beauty, purpose, and tradition. The session invites reflection on what we preserve, why it matters, and our responsibility to future generations.
All students, faculty, and staff are welcome to this meaningful convergence of art, culture, and learning.
The Financial Management and Reporting Group (FMR) would like to request that students with unsettled balances settle their payments by October 15 (Wednesday) for the 2nd installment and November 17 (Monday) for the 3rd installment.
