Lecture on the Rise of the Middle Powers
The Institute of Law invites the UA&P community to a lecture on the rise of the Middle Powers, entitled “The Philippines and the Middle Powers in a World of Conflict,” on January 31 (Wednesday) from 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm at the UA&P Library Multimedia Hub.
The lecture will be given by Dr. Chester Cabalza, the president and founder of the non-profit policy research organization International Development and Security Cooperation (IDSC). UA&P alumna and Center for Student Affairs Officer Ms. Julia Rocio Salle-Gatdula will open the lecture with a short talk on the implications of defense spending vis à vis the Philippine economy.
This lecture is part of the National Security Series of the School of Social Sciences, Law, and Governance.
