SED Faculty Lecture Series 2
The School of Education and Human Development invites everyone to its Quarterly Faculty Lecture Series on January 25 (Wednesday) from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. via Zoom. Ms. Eunice T. Contreras, a full-time faculty member of SED handling Professional Education courses both at the undergraduate and graduate programs, will share her recently published article in the International Journal of Ethics Education entitled Cultivating character in female student leaders: case of a leadership program of an NGO in the Philippines.
This article explores how a leadership program for students in the Philippines cultivates character using as theoretical framework the 7 strategies of character development presented in Lamb et al. in Journal of Character Education 17(1):81–108, 2021a.
