A tribute video has been made to honor Dr. Placido L. Mapa, Jr., who had been instrumental in the foundation and development of UA&P and made a great impact on the corporate world and the education sector. The video may be viewed here.

UA&P has also established the Dr. Placido L. Mapa, Jr. Scholarship Endowment, which seeks to support five merit scholars with exemplary leadership qualities and the potential to be catalysts for change in their community.

Student grantees under the Dr. Placido L. Mapa, Jr. Scholarship Endowment are entitled to the following benefits:

• 100% coverage of UA&P tuition and miscellaneous fees
• P8,000 monthly stipend for 10 months
• P1,000 monthly internet allowance for 10 months
• Laptop
• Professional Development Coach from among the UA&P Board of Trustees
