CRC–ILD to host forum on Digital Transformation and Local Governance

The Center for Research and Communication (CRC) Institute for Local Development will hold the Second Forum on Local Governance and Development on February 11 (Wednesday) from 12:30 to 4:30 pm at the  PLDT Hall.

With the theme “Reimagining Local Governance: Digital Transformation for Local Development,” the forum will examine how digital tools and innovations can help local government units (LGUs) address increasingly complex governance challenges, strengthen public service delivery, and enhance transparency, efficiency, and responsiveness.

The forum will feature two panel discussions: (1) digital transformation for improved effectiveness, efficiency, and transparency in LGUs, and (2) the use of digital tools and innovative communication strategies for disaster preparedness and response. Speakers from government, civil society, academia, the international development community, and the private sector will share good practices and real-world applications of digital transformation in the public sector.

The event will convene around 120 participants from LGUs, national government agencies, civil society organizations, academia, and development partners to foster dialogue and collaboration on scalable digital solutions for local governance.
