Exploring Research Through Interviews: A Session with Dr. James Lactao
The University Research Office (URO), in collaboration with the School of Education and Human Development (SED), invites UA&P faculty, staff, and students to a session on "Exploring Research with Dr. James Lactao, From Questions to Insights: Interviewing as a Research Tool" on October 7 (Tuesday), 2:00 to 4:00 pm, at the Dizon Auditorium.
This session will explore how interviews can be used to turn meaningful questions into rich insights, whether for academic research, classroom projects, or professional work.
Dr. James Lactao is a Registered Guidance Counselor and Licensed Professional Teacher with over 20 years of mentoring experience. He has served as Head of the Office of Guidance and Counseling and Vice Director of the Center for Student Affairs at UA&P, and he currently teaches in the undergraduate and graduate programs of SED. His research focuses on sustainability and behavior change, with publications such as “Rhetorical Orientations for Promoting Sustainable Travel Behavior: A Perspective” (2022) and presentations at international conferences, including the Korean Conference on Education (2024) and the 15th Biennial Conference of the Association of Social Psychology (2023).
