JC graduates present study at Singapore conference
Two graduates of the Junior College (JC) program presented their study at the International Association for Media and Communication Research (IAMCR) Conference 2025 held in July in Singapore.
David Neil Joseph Lumba, a 36YP student of Master of Arts in Political Economy with Specialization in International Relations and Development, and Warren Victor Bea, a 36YP student of Master of Arts in Integrated Marketing, form part of the 1,700 participants from 72 countries who participated in IAMCR's annual conference.

Their study, “Religion, Youth, and Digital Advocacy: Grassroots Mobilization for Environmental Justice in Tampakan, Mindanao,” explored how faith-based groups and young activists harness digital platforms to rally communities against environmental threats. Highlighting the role of moral responsibility, cultural narratives, and grassroots leadership, their work demonstrated how collective digital advocacy can promote environmental justice and sustainable futures.
