The UA and P Credit Cooperative invites all members to its face-to-face Annual General Assembly on March 29 (Wednesday) at 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Dining Halls 1 & 2. Lunch will be served. The agenda will follow strictly the order of business for a regular General Assembly.

Dr. Robin Michael Garcia selected as an Eisenhower Global Fellow

UA&P Assistant Professor Dr. Robin Michael Garcia, who was recently appointed as an expert adviser in Congress, has been selected for the prestigious 2023 Eisenhower Global Fellowship program.

Eisenhower Fellowships, created to honor American President Dwight D. Eisenhower for his contribution to humanity, aims to identify, empower, and connect innovative leaders across the world, typically between the ages of 32 and 45, through an intensive four-to-six-week fellowship in the United States.

Dr. Garcia joins the roster of Filipino Eisenhower Fellows that include Senator Risa Hontiveros, former senator Bam Aquino, and Defense Secretary Carlito Galvez, among others. As an Eisenhower Fellow, he intends to focus on innovating the polling, data analytics, and political risk analysis in the Philippines.

Dr. Garcia teaches international relations subjects at the UA&P School of Social Sciences, Law, and Governance. He holds a PhD in International Politics from Shanghai-based Fudan University, where he graduated top of his class, having received the Dean’s Award for Academic Excellence. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in Development Studies from De La Salle University and a Master of Public Administration from the University of the Philippines. Outside the academe, he runs the integrated public affairs firm WR Advisory Group (formerly W&R) as President and CEO.

University Graduation Rites 2023 moved to August 26

The Graduation Committee would like to inform everyone that the date of the UA&P Graduation Rites 2023 has been moved to August 26, 2023 (Saturday), due to the availability of the ceremony venue. The graduation rehearsals schedule has also been adjusted accordingly.

Prospective candidates for graduation are advised to take note of the following important dates:

UA&P Entrance Exam results now available

Applicants may now view the results of the UA&P Entrance Examinations held last February 11 and 18 by logging on to their EmpowerED Dashboard here.

Acceptance letters will be sent out by next week.

Fit to Fight sessions cancelled (March 6 & 8)

Due to the jeepney strike, there will be no Fit to Fight sessions on March 6 and 8 (Monday and Wednesday). Instead, there will be homework for everyone to work on independently. Fit to Fight sessions will resume next week.
