The Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities (PACU), through the Committee on Institutional Quality Improvement, invites you to the Leadership and Management Perspectives in Higher Education (LAMP) Summit on May 28 (Wednesday) from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm at UA&P.
The 7th LAMP Summit, with the theme "Fortifying the Curriculum and Embracing Lifelong Learning Pathways," is designed as a space for higher education leaders, academicians, and learning practitioners to come together to surface challenges, connections, and strategic collaborations among private higher education leaders in the country. The LAMP Summit is where school leaders can share stories and best practices about quality management. Unlike a typical seminar or webinar, which is heavy on lectures, the LAMP Summit is designed to be participatory, interactive, and features thought leaders, participated in by thought leaders.

Expected participants are from PACU and non-PACU member private higher education institutions in the Philippines.
As the host institution, UA&P faculty and administrative staff are invited by PACU to participate in the sessions with waived registration fees without meals. Since the participants' lunch will be served at the UA&P Cafeteria, the Executive Cafe will be open to employees on campus on this day.

Twenty-nine alumni and current participants to UA&P's Strategic Business Economics Program (SBEP) successfully completed an executive course on Strategic Leadership in Innovation and Artificial Intelligence (AI) at IESE Business School, University of Navarra, in Barcelona, Spain, from May 5-7, 2025.
Led by top IESE professors, the course provided participants with expert insights and practical knowledge on leveraging innovation and AI to drive business growth and stay competitive in a rapidly evolving landscape. Through a combination of lectures, case studies, and interactive discussions, participants gained valuable skills and perspectives to enhance their leadership capabilities.
In addition to the academic program, the group explored the rich cultural heritage of Barcelona and its surroundings, visiting iconic landmarks such as La Sagrada Familia, Montserrat, and Girona. The city tour provided a unique opportunity for participants to bond and network in a relaxed setting.
SBEP is a top executive program that equips professionals with advanced knowledge and skills in business economics and strategy. Its alumni and current participants are part of a global network of leaders who drive business success and innovation. The executive custom program held in Barcelona is a testament to SBEP’s commitment to providing its participants with world-class learning experiences and opportunities for growth.

The Business Economics Association (BEA) of the UA&P School of Economics recently held Ecovision 2025, declaring St. Joseph College of Novaliches, Inc. as grand champions in an intense three-day economics event that concluded on May 3, 2025, at the PLDT Hall of UA&P.
Ecovision is the flagship competition of BEA, designed to inspire and challenge the next generation of aspiring economists. Open to all Grade 9 to 12 students nationwide from all senior high school strands, the event features a series of seminars led by UA&P's distinguished professors, followed by three intellectually engaging challenges that put economic knowledge to the test.
This year, the competition tackled one of the Philippines' most pressing economic issues—national development—by encouraging students to explore policies, strategies, and solutions that drive sustainable growth. Among the speakers that led the seminars were Dr. George Manzano, former dean of the School of Economics; Dr. John Paolo Rivera, Senior Research Fellow of the Philippine Institute for Development Studies; Dr. Cid Terosa, former dean of the School of Economics; and Mr. Emilio Neri, Jr., lead economist of BPI.

The grand champions brought home three full scholarships to UA&P, 15,000 in cash, a champion's cup, and medals. First-place winners in the challenges received 5,000 in cash, a trophy, and gold medals.
