AQA Advisory: Orientation on the Institutional Quality Management System

All UA&P faculty members and staff are enjoined to attend the presentation and discussion of the Institutional Quality Management System (IQMS) of the University on October 25 (Wednesday) from 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm at the PLDT Hall.

You may read the IQMS manual here and the ManCom memo here.

DPO Advisory: Phishing and email scams

The University Data Privacy Office would like to remind everyone to be more careful about phishing and similar scam email messages that request you to click attachments, fill out forms, or update personal information. Be especially careful of emails from outside the @uap.asia domain, even if the name displayed may look legitimate. Do not click any links from said emails and forward them immediately to [email protected] and [email protected] so these can be investigated.

A common technique scammers use is to disguise a fake email address with a familiar name. There was a recent incident wherein the name of a UA&P staff "masked" a fake email address that was used to send out a fraudulent message with grave repercussions for the staff concerned.

Always exercise caution and care online. Stay digitally safe, everyone.
