Chaplaincy Advisory: 2024 Easter Triduum

We invite everyone to this year’s Easter Triduum Liturgical celebration at the Sancta Maria Stella Orientis Oratory with a live feed at the Celestino Dizon Auditorium.

The schedule will be as follows:

Holy Thursday
The Lord’s Supper | 6:00 pm

March 29
Good Friday
The Lord’s Passion | 3:00 pm

March 30
Holy Saturday
Easter Vigil | 9:00 pm

After the Evening of the Lord’s Supper, the altar of Repose on Holy Thursday is open for Visita Iglesia until midnight. For the Easter Vigil, everyone is to assemble at the DCB Plaza. Please bring your candles with wax plates.

UA&P ERT wins at National Fire Brigade Competition 2024

The UA&P Emergency Response Team (ERT) recently won several awards in the 11-in-1 National Fire Brigade Competition 2024 organized by the Safety Organization of the Philippines, Inc. (SOPI) in collaboration with the Bureau of Fire Protection on March 9 at ARCA South (formerly FTI) DBP Avenue, Western Bicutan, Taguig City.

The UA&P ERT bagged for the fifth time the championship in all five events in the Campus and Village category, earning the award for Over-All Champion of the competition. The events include rescue and transfer relay operation, hose laying and replacement of busted hose, flammable fire extinguishment, bucket relay, and fire whiz.

The competition was held in observance of Fire Safety Month. The annual activity aims to increase awareness and encourage public participation in Fire Safety Training and Education and to develop among members of the fire brigade teams the spirit of bayanihan in the event of fire and other emergencies.

Suspension of classes (April 3)

The CSA Office of Sports Development has scheduled the Unitas Games on April 3 (Wednesday).

The day classes will be cancelled to allow students and teachers to participate in the events. Please await further details in future announcements.

Evening classes (Graduate Programs and JD) may conduct their regular classes.

2024 Holy Week Retreat For Professional Men

All male UA&P employees are invited to a Holy Week Retreat this March 28 to 30 to be held at the Dizon Auditorium.

The retreat fee is Php1,500. Payment options will be emailed after registration.

Petty cash fund now available

The Financial Management and Reporting Group (FMR) would like to inform all employees that the petty cash fund (PCF) will be made available starting March 13 (Wednesday).

Please refer to the PCF coverage, procedure and guidelines, and required forms here.

Employees can transact with FMR onsite through Ms. Kayla Jerained Quierrez from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
