Mass in honor of St. Josemaría Escrivá



All UA&P students, alumni, faculty, and staff, together with their families and friends, are invited to the celebration of the Solemnity of St. Josemaría Escrivá at the Sancta Maria Stella Orientis Oratory on June 26 (Thursday) at 12:05 pm.

The University's Charter Day will also be celebrated during the 7:45 am and 12:05 pm Masses on this feast day.

UA&P hosts UGR professor under the Erasmus+ Mobility Program

 

On June 4, the University of Asia and the Pacific (UA&P) hosted Atty. Patricia Viciera Ortega, a professor of Civil Law from the University of Granada, Spain, through the Erasmus+ Faculty/Staff Mobility Program.

Atty. Ortega delivered an insightful lecture on AI credit scoring and its role in improving access to credit for vulnerable consumers, organized by the UA&P School of Social Sciences, Law, and Governance (SLG).

CPD workshop on "Writing Stories for the Classroom"

 

The School of Education and Human Development (SED) invites educators to a Continuing Professional Development-accredited seminar-workshop titled "Writing Stories for the Classroom" to be held on September 20, 2025 (Saturday), from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm at the Telengtan Hall.

This hands-on, one-day workshop will equip participants with storytelling principles and strategies that they can apply immediately in their teaching. Educators will learn how to transform their lessons into engaging narratives that spark deeper learning. 

The session will be facilitated by Dr. Joem Antonio, professor at the College of Arts and Sciences, and Dr. Nina Aunario, instructor at the School of Education and Human Development.

Licensed professional teachers will earn 4 CPD units.

Mga propesor ng UA&P, hurado sa UP Asian Center Student Congress

 

Limang propesor mula sa UA&P College of Arts and Sciences ang naging hurado sa Graduate Student Congress 2025 ng UP Asian Center noong Mayo 31, 2025, na may tema na "The Philippines in a Multipolar World."

Kabilang sa mga hurado sina Dr. Dean Edward Mejos (CAS Vice Dean), Dr. Philip Michael Paje (Tagapangulo, Asia Pacific Studies), Dr. Elizabeth Urgel (APS), Dr. Maria Jesusa Carina Aunario (Literature), at Dr. Moreal Camba (Tagapangulo, Kagawaran ng Filipino).

Mahigit 100 gradwadong mag-aaral ang nagbahagi ng kanilang pananaliksik sa iba't ibang larang tulad ng pulitika, pamamahala, ugnayang panlabas, seguridad, migrasyon,  kultura, sining, wika, kalusugan, teknolohiya, kasaysayan, at midya.

Ang paglahok ng kaguruan mula CAS ay naging daan upang mapili ang pinakamahuhusay na mananaliksik at tagapaglahad sa bawat kategorya. Nagbukas din ito ng posibilidad para sa mga kolaborasyon sa hinaharap.
