AQA cascades 2024 UA&P GRI Sustainability Report updates

The Academic Quality Assurance Office (AQA) conducted on October 15 a cascade of the updates on UA&P’s 2024 Sustainability Report, the University’s fourth sustainability report since its inaugural edition in 2012.

In the session attended by UA&P President Dr. Winston Conrad Padojinog, Vice President for Business Development Dr. Robert Roque, and some unit heads, AQA presented the key developments across the University's economic, environmental, social, and academic aspects. The cascade also highlighted UA&P’s progress towards its targets under the 3x3x2030 strategic plans and performance indicators.

Additionally, the Center for Social Responsibility (CSR), through Sustainability Specialist Cheska Cabugoy, briefly introduced the significance of sustainability and UA&P’s sustainability reporting process, laying the groundwork for the understanding of the audience.

The 2024 Sustainability Report consolidated data and insights from key units such as Financial Management and Reporting (FMR), Human Resource Management (HRM), Assets and Facilities Management (AFM), Center for Student Affairs (CSA), Office of the Registrar (REG), and various administrative and academic departments. Following Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) standards, the report covers 2019 to 2022.

Currently in its finalization stage, the report is expected to be released this October, marking a significant step in UA&P’s ongoing commitment to transparency and sustainability.
