The School of Education and Human Development (SED) is pleased to announce the re-launch of its Family Life Education (FLE) Program.
The course draws on various sources for its content and design: the international and local literature on family life education, the “content areas” identified by the National Council on Family Relations and family life education experts, and notes of experience of local groups and organizations involved in helping families meet their various needs.
It is ideal for organizations (non-government, faith-based, civic, and businesses implementing family-friendly policies and programs), dioceses, parishes, local government units, schools (public and private), and school-related organizations involved in parent formation and education, guidance counseling, and family counseling.
To be delivered via hybrid mode, the FLE Program will be offered twice in 2025:
1st run: February 1 to June 21, 2025 (Saturdays only)
2nd run: July 12 to November 29, 2025 (Saturdays only)
Apply through this link: https://tinyurl.com/FLEProgram. Individual interviews will be scheduled as soon as the application form is received.

The University of Asia and the Pacific is pleased to welcome 350 youth and young adults to the "Social Media and Online Community" seminar-workshop on November 23 (Saturday) from 8:00 am to 12 noon at the Li Seng Giap Auditorium.
The session in UA&P is one of the eight pocket events that will be held simultaneously in select areas of Pasig City in celebration of the 2024 Vocation Festival of the Ecclesiastical Province of Manila (EPM), which is expected to gather a total of 3,650 youth and young adults from the 13 dioceses and ecclesiastical origins under the EPM.
The Vocation Festival, with the theme “You are Mine” (Isaiah 43:1) or “Ikaw ay Akin,” "aims to empower youth in their personal journeys of vocational discernment, providing them with the necessary tools and insights to explore their individual callings."
The host diocese of Pasig, together with all the organizers, "has prepared a meaningful and enriching program that will not only inspire hearts but also challenge minds to respond to the call of service, whether in the priesthood, religious life or as lay persons dedicated to the mission of the Church."
Aside from the pocket events in the morning, there will be vocation and city promotions, a Eucharistic Celebration, confessions, a plenary, and a concert in the evening.
The Ecclesiastical Province of Manila is composed of the dioceses of Antipolo, Imus, Cubao, Pasig, Parañaque, Kalookan, San Pablo, Novaliches, the Archdiocese of Manila, the Apostolic Vicariate of Puerto Princesa, the Apostolic Vicariate of Taytay, and the Military Ordinariate of the Philippines.

"The logo serves not merely as a representation of the theme or the host diocese, but as a profound symbol of accompaniment. It reminds us that we are all embraced by the Holy Trinity, embodying an embrace that brings warmth and comfort to every individual. This imagery evokes our longing for a divine embrace that offers rest from our pains and worries, providing assurance of hope and redemption. It signifies the unconditional love and support that the Holy Trinity extends to us, inviting us into a relationship of peace and belonging." - 2024 EPM Vocation Festival Primer
