Two graduates of the Junior College (JC) program presented their study at the International Association for Media and Communication Research (IAMCR) Conference 2025 held in July in Singapore.
David Neil Joseph Lumba, a 36YP student of Master of Arts in Political Economy with Specialization in International Relations and Development, and Warren Victor Bea, a 36YP student of Master of Arts in Integrated Marketing, form part of the 1,700 participants from 72 countries who participated in IAMCR's annual conference.

Their study, “Religion, Youth, and Digital Advocacy: Grassroots Mobilization for Environmental Justice in Tampakan, Mindanao,” explored how faith-based groups and young activists harness digital platforms to rally communities against environmental threats. Highlighting the role of moral responsibility, cultural narratives, and grassroots leadership, their work demonstrated how collective digital advocacy can promote environmental justice and sustainable futures.
This school year's Freshman Incorporation Rites will be held on September 19, 2025 (Friday), at the Li Seng Giap Auditorium (2/F ACB), according to the following schedule:
1:30-3:00 p.m. - 1st Year Junior College Students
4:30-6:00 p.m. - College Freshmen
The Incorporation Rites are an academic ceremony during which the freshmen are formally incorporated or inducted into the University, as signified by the imposition of a white beca bearing the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) seal.

The Information Technology Community (ITeC), under the School of Sciences, Engineering, and Technology (SSET), invites UA&P students to "Tech It Up," a forum designed to explore how technology can transform and elevate business practices, on September 17 (Wednesday) from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm at the PLDT Hall.
This forum will feature Mr. Chester Coronel, UA&P IT alumnus and current Business Development Director for the Microsoft Services Portfolio at SoftwareOne Philippines, and Ms. Leigh De Joya-De Guzman, CEO of Frost Design & Consulting Group, a Filipino-led design agency creating human-centered digital experiences for enterprise clients and millions of users.
