November 8 deadline for 6YP, College admissions

 

Cycle 1 of the Junior College and College applications for SY 2026-2027 will close on November 8, 2025. Make sure you have paid the application fee, uploaded your documents, and chosen your entrance examination schedule.

UA&P hosts IMUN Philippines

 

IMUN (International Model United Nations) Philippines returns this year at UA&P on November 12-14, 2025, to bring together young leaders from around the world for a dynamic exchange of ideas on diplomacy and international relations. Through debate, collaboration, and cultural exchange, delegates strengthen their understanding of global issues and their role in shaping a better future. Talk on Earthquake Resilience and Structural Safety

 

The School of Sciences, Engineering, and Technology (SSE) invites the UA&P community to a talk entitled “Is Your Building Safe from Earthquake Magnitude 7.2 (The Big One)” to be given by Engr. Telesforo “Porsche” Peña, a distinguished structural engineer, on November 12 (Wednesday) from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm at the Li Seng Giap Auditorium.

This talk serves as the kickoff event for SSE’s Technovation Week, taking place from November 17 to 19, and marks the celebration of SSE’s founding anniversary.

UA&P joins Accenture University Leads Forum

 

The University of Asia and the Pacific (UA&P) participated in the University Leads Forum 2025, an exclusive event for Accenture’s partner universities, on October 28, 2025, at Accenture Uptown Tower 2, Client Experience Center, BGC, Taguig City. 

Representing UA&P were Dr. Ruel Maningas, School of Management (SMN) Vice Dean and MABA Program Director; Ms. Jodie Claire Ngo, BSBA Program Director and SMN Operations Committee Secretary; and Dr. Noemi Barcial-Torre, Dean of the School of Sciences, Engineering, and Technology (SSE).

The forum served as a celebration of Accenture’s collaborative milestones and provided a platform to explore innovative approaches to advancing education and workforce readiness. It was a meaningful opportunity to share success stories, exchange ideas, and co-develop impactful programs aimed at enhancing students’ skills and employability.

Library Session on Use of ScienceDirect

 

UA&P students, faculty, and academic non-teaching staff are invited to the UA&P Library Awareness Program (LAP) session on October 30 (Thursday) from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm at the Multimedia Hub, University Library.

The session, entitled "Expanding Research Access Through ScienceDirect: Exploring Perpetual E-Books and Open Access Resources," aims to help participants unlock the full potential of ScienceDirect’s perpetual e-book collections and open-access materials and gain practical tips on integrating, citing, and sharing open and perpetually available content.
