FMR Advisory:  Closing of books of accounts for AY 2024-25

The year-end closing of UA&P’s books of accounts will be on July 31, 2025 (Thursday). All expense disbursements that will be charged to the Academic Year 2024-2025 should meet the following requirements:

  • Reimbursements and liquidations of cash advances must be supported by BIR-registered invoices/receipts and must be dated July 31, 2025, or prior.
  • The last day for the submission of requests for payments and requests for reimbursements is August 8, 2025 (Monday). This will ensure that all payments with withholding tax will be accounted for.  No disbursement to be charged to AY 2024-2025 will be accepted after August 8, 2025.
  • Liquidation of advances, including fixed reimbursement expenses (FREs), should be made no later than August 8, 2025.

We will only process expenses necessary for the operations in the remaining two weeks.  We encourage all units to review their remaining budgets and identify areas where costs can be minimized or deferred.

The same applies to capital expenditures (CAPEX): only those necessary for operations for this school year will be purchased.  Any CAPEX items that will not be acquired or completed by July 31, 2025, will be carried over to the next school year’s budget.

All submissions may still be made online to facilitate the processing of payments and the recording of corresponding expenses. However, hard copies must be submitted to the FMR Office or directly to your school accountants not later than August 15, 2025.
