31st Equatorial Rites

 

Everyone is invited to the 31st Equatorial Rites to be held on March 17 (Friday) at 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm at the Li Seng Giap Auditorium.

An academic rite of passage, the Equatorial Rites marks the students’ crossing over the halfway point of their course of studies. At this celebration, each student receives a beca bearing the color of the respective Graduate School he is entering, and the University Seal.

Let us join Entry Batch 2019 (6-year program) and Entry Batch 2020 (4-year, 5-year, and Lex Honors programs) in this celebration.

Importance of Youth in Politics: A discussion with Indian National Congress Spokesperson Mr. Dhruv Jatti

 

POLIS invites everyone to a discussion on the importance of the youth in politics on March 15 (Wednesday) at 10:30 AM at the PLDT Hall. The guest speaker is Mr. Dhruv Jatti, the youngest Spokesperson of the Indian National Congress and is the founder of the Indian Student Community and the Bangalore Student Community. 

Mr. Dhruv Jatti was also a panelist at the Bangalore International Centre on a discussion over youth in politics. Today, he has emerged to become a national figure who voices the opinions of students across the nation.

Access point upgrade at CAS and USC

 

The ICT Office will be conducting an access point (AP) upgrade at the College of Arts and Sciences Building (CAS) and the University Student Commons (USC) on March 13 to 15 (Monday to Wednesday) between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm. During this upgrade, intermittent connection issues to the network may be experienced.

To minimize any potential disruption, the upgrade will prioritize classrooms and office areas one at a time. This means that there may be brief periods of downtime in these areas while the upgrade is being implemented.
