The School of Communication (SCM), in coordination with the University Library, is pleased to announce the trial access to Music Ally, a global leading music business resource with 20 years of cutting-edge analysis, data, reporting, case studies, and insight on the modern global music industry and digital music marketing. 

Trial coverage period is until May 31, 2023.

The trial access to Music Ally is accessible on the LIB website requiring single sign-on with your uap.asia email account.

UA&P Law graduates pass 2022 Bar Exams with 100% passing rate

 

The Institute of Law of the School of Social Sciences, Law, and Governance is pleased to announce that the UA&P Juris Doctor Program posted a 100 percent passing rate in the 2022 Bar Examinations held in November last year. The Supreme Court of the Philippines released on April 14 the list of 3,992 successful examinees, which includes 17 graduates from the JD program. UA&P extends its congratulations to the following new lawyers:

UA&P topped the list of 67 law schools with 11 to 50 first-time Bar candidates, posting 100% passing rate, and ranked first among 58 law schools with 11 to 50 Bar candidates who passed the examinations.

A total of 3,992 out of 9,183 takers passed the 2022 Bar Exams, equivalent to a passing rate of 43.47 percent. Read more here.

UA&P ERT wins at National Fire Brigade Competition

 

The UA&P Emergency Response Team (ERT) recently won several awards in the annual 10-in-1 National Fire Brigade Competition organized by the Safety Organization of the Philippines, Inc. (SOPI). The UA&P ERT bagged for the fourth time the championship in all five events in the Campus and Village category, earning the award for Over-All Champion of the competition. The event was held last March 4, 2023 at ARCA South (formerly FTI) DBP Avenue, Western Bicutan, Taguig City.

The competition was held in observance of Fire Safety Month in collaboration with the Bureau of Fire Protection. The annual activity aims to increase awareness and encourage public participation in Fire Safety Training and Education and to develop among members of the fire brigade teams the spirit of bayanihan in the event of fire and other emergencies.

 

 

Talk on investments, savings, and retirement 

 

The Office of Career Services, in partnership with  Metrobank, invites UA&P students and employees to a talk on "Investments, Savings, Retirement: Why Consider and How You Should Start as Early as Now" on April 12 (Wednesday) from 2:00 - 3:30 pm at the Telengtan Hall. 

The talk is tailored for individuals who are starting their careers or already possess some financial knowledge. It aims to equip attendees with valuable tips and strategies to manage their finances efficiently and achieve financial stability in the long term. 

The speaker is Marie Antoinette M. Ochoa, First Vice President and Head of the Private Wealth Department, Private Wealth Division of Metrobank.
