University Day Lecture 2023

 

Everyone is invited to the University Day Lecture to be held at the Li Seng Giap Auditorium on August 15 (Tuesday) at 10:30 a.m.

UA&P Associate Professor Dr. Juan Mesquida will deliver a lecture entitled "Leaving a Legacy: Lessons From History About Endowments."

University Opening Rites 2023

 

Everyone is cordially invited to the University Opening Rites to be held at the Li Seng Giap Auditorium on August 9 (Wednesday) at 10:30 am.

All faculty members, both full-time and part-time, are requested to join the activity and wear their academic gowns. The assembly area for faculty members is Study Hall A.

The program will be as follows:

10:30 am - Assembly
10:45 am - Processional (Faculty, ManCom, and OpComs)
10:55 am - Introduction
11:00 am - The President’s Address
11:25 am - University Hymn
11:30 am - Recessional

To mark the opening of the academic year, the Mass of the Holy Spirit will be celebrated at the Sancta Maria Stella Orientis Oratory at 12:05 pm after the University Opening Rites. Everyone is encouraged to attend this Eucharistic celebration.

Classes will be suspended from 10:30 am to 12 noon to allow everyone to attend this institutional activity.

Freshstart 2023

 

The Center for Student Affairs - Office of Guidance and Counseling will hold Freshstart 2023, the annual orientation for incoming junior college and freshmen students, this August 2-4 (Wednesday to Friday).

The orientation for students will be fully on-site this year. Incoming students are encouraged to follow the UA&P Freshstart Facebook page for updates and announcements. The program can also be viewed here.

3rd PMAP Research Conference on Harnessing Human Capital Development

 

PMAP would like to invite teachers and students to its 3rd PMAP Research Conference on September 8, 2023, from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm at the University of Asia and the Pacific.

The conference aims to explore insights on the challenges and opportunities of harnessing human capital in sustainable economies and help participants learn to drive more and better human capital investments for economic growth with evidence-based research.

PMAP Certificate Course in Organization Development

 

Enrollment for the Certificate Course in Organization Development is now open. Classes will be held every Saturday from August 19 to October 7, 2023. The facilitator will be Dr. Regina C. Dy, Euromed Laboratories consultant, and De La Salle University Graduate Studies professor.
