The Public and International Affairs Office (PIA) invites UA&P students from all year levels to participate in the International Model United Nations (IMUN) 2023 to be hosted by UA&P on November 8-10, 2023.
IMUN brings youth from around the world to learn about diplomacy, international relations, and the United Nations and share ideas from diverse experiences and backgrounds. IMUN is also an excellent platform for the youth to experience intense constructive debates and negotiations on how to handle global issues on an international level. This year, IMUN is expecting 300 international delegates.
The discounted registration fee for UA&P students is USD99 (use the code IMUNUAP on the payment page to avail of the exclusive discount for UA&P). For those who will join, please register here on or before October 15, 2023. Afterward, kindly fill out this form for PIA monitoring purposes.

The CAS Junior College Program will hold a Meet your Mentor Day (dubbed MMDAy) on September 6 (Wednesday) from 1:00 to 4:30 pm at the Mentoring Space at Study Hall A.
This special meet-and-greet aims to (1) introduce Junior College students to their respective mentors; (2) be a venue for Mentor and Mentee to exchange basic personal info while having snacks together; and (3) help the pair establish their common free time and agree on their possible mentoring schedule, venue, and frequency of meetings.
The Center for Student Affairs - Office of Student Development is pleased to invite everyone to the 24th Civitas Asia National Student Conference (civAsia) this coming September 20 to 22, 2023 from 9am to 5pm at the PLDT Hall. Registration and morning snacks will be at 8am.
This year's conference will focus on SDG 16 (Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions), thus, having the theme "Hilom: Empowering the Youth in Shaping a Future of Peace." The three-day event will feature various talks/discussions, a workshop, and more. Included in the roster of invited resource speakers are Dr. Loreta Navarro-Castro (Center for Peace Education), Atty. Ray Paolo Santiago (Ateneo Human Rights Center), and Mr. Gustavo Gonzalez (UN Resident Coordinator in the Philippines).

The Center for Research and Communication (CRC) invites you to the IGNITE AsiaPacific Forum entitled "Scaling Up Philippine Agribusiness by Integrating Smallholder Farms: A Focus on the Coconut Sector" on September 7 (Thursday) from 1:00-4:00 pm at the Li Seng Giap Auditorium.

The forum aims to tackle and initiate discussions on how coconut farmers and the cooperative sector can contribute to human and economic development. At large, it addresses social programs and growth in truly human values. The forum will discuss the opportunities integrating smallholder farms in order to achieve economies of scale through co-operatives.
One of the main resource speakers is Dr. Bernardo Villegas, CRC Director for Research and Chairholder of the Professorial Chair for Social Economics.
The event is organized by the Professorial Chair for Social Economics of the Center for Research and Communication of the University of Asia and the Pacific in partnership with the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry Agricultural Committee and in collaboration with the Alay Buhay Community Development Foundation, Inc.
