Chaplaincy Advisory: Novena Mass to the Immaculate Conception

We cordially invite everyone to the Novena Mass in honor of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary on the following dates:

November 30 (Thursday)
December 1-2 (Friday-Saturday) and 4-7 (Monday-Thursday)
12:05 pm

December 3 (Sunday)
10:30 am

The Novena Mass will culminate on December 8 (Friday), the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception, a holy day of obligation for Catholics. Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 am at the Sancta Maria Stella Orientis Oratory and the Dizon Auditorium.

Pre-Advent Penitential Rite 2023

HRM and the Chaplaincy invite all faculty and staff to the Pre-Advent Penitential Rite 2023 with the theme “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the Kingdom of heaven" on December 1 (Friday) at the Sancta Maria Stella Orientis Oratory from 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm. The activity is also open to contracted personnel.

To facilitate the logistics of the activity, those who will go to confession are encouraged to sign up here.

Call for Brain Break Sponsorship and Partnership

As we warmly embrace and cultivate a caring community and the spirit of UNITAS, we invite you to support the students on the 6th run of Brain Break.

The Office of Guidance and Counseling (OGC) initiated the Brain Break program to support students during finals week by providing a space where they can unwind, manage their stress levels, and promote self-care through different activities. We also give out free coffee and snacks to the students.

Brain Break will be held on December 4 to 7. We invite interested faculty, employees, and staff to donate any brain food such as chocolate, peanuts, candies, and refreshments such as coffee and juice to be given away to the students. You may drop off your donations at Guidance Extension Office, 2/F CAS.

As part of the donation procedure, kindly send a scanned copy of the official receipt/deposit slip or the proof of transaction (for online bank transfers) to [email protected].
