Earthquake drill on November 15

The University will be conducting its regular earthquake drill on the morning of November 15 (Wednesday). When the fire alarm sounds (simulating the earthquake), everyone must duck, cover, and hold. As soon as the sound stops, a siren will go off and everyone is expected to evacuate and follow the new evacuation plan as illustrated below.

The evacuation area is the southbound lane along St. Josemaría Escrivá Drive in front of the old parking area and Champagne Condominium. Evacuation team members have been pre-selected and oriented to assist everyone during the drill. Their responsibilities may be viewed here.

Those in their offices and classrooms are requested to secure their work areas as well as personal belongings before and during the evacuation.

Those who may not be able to participate in the drill due to medical conditions or other valid reasons may coordinate with Arianne Vito Cruz at local 280 for the precautions and proper arrangements.
