In observance of Ramadan, the University of Asia and the Pacific hosted an Iftar dinner last April 1 for the Muslim external partners of UA&P. Iftar is the meal that Muslims eat after sunset during Ramadan to break the day's fast.
The dinner, held from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm at Dining Halls 1 and 2, was also attended by UA&P faculty, students, and parents. The external partners gave a short presentation about Ramadan and demonstrated the method of serving maklube (a rice and meat dish) by flipping the pot upside down before the proper meal.
