On September 11, BIGGKAS+, the university-wide extension program of UA&P, renewed its monthly Technical Working Group (TWG) meetings with an overview of the role that institutional outreach and extension activities play in the University's accreditation activities, and a sharing of best practices in this area.

The BIGGKAS+ TWG comprises representatives from the seven schools and some administrative units of UA&P.

Ms. Millie Claro, Managing Director of the Academic Quality Assurance Office, discussed the importance of the TWG in guiding and executing the University's outreach and extension programs. She also highlighted the salient points governing the Social Orientation and Community Engagement criterion of the Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities Commission on Accreditation (PACUCOA).

A sharing of meaningful experiences and best practices in outreach activities followed. BIGGKAS+ aims to make the sharing of best practices a constant in its meetings to make the most of the collective knowledge and experiences of the TWG members and create a culture of collaboration and teamwork.
