UA&P holds retreat-seminar for female employees 

 

Twenty-nine female employees from UA&P participated in the retreat-seminar held at Tagaytay Conference Center from June 21 to 23. 

The three-day activity consisted of classes on marriage and family, talks on friendship and work, workshops on personal identity and mission, get-togethers on St. Josemaria and Opus Dei, and an outdoor picnic lunch with sports period. Fr. Carlos Estrada, the University Chaplain, gave the meditations.

Call for Updates: UA&P Student Handbook 2024-25

 

In preparation for the release of the upcoming UA&P Student Handbook 2024-25 in August 2024, all schools and units in the University are requested to email updates and revisions pertinent to their offices to [email protected] on or before July 19, 2024 (Friday).

Student organizations and other groups may also send their updates for the student handbook (i.e. updated organization writeups, etc.) to the email address above.

UA&P welcomes new batch of EIP Korean students

 

UA&P, through its Public and International Affairs (PIA) Office, welcomes the new batch of EIP students from Hannam and Dankook Universities in South Korea.

The four-week English Immersion Program (EIP) offers participants the chance to gain practical English language skills from the faculty members of the College of Arts and Sciences and some UA&P students. The program enables students to practice English through authentic, engaging, and intellectually stimulating oral communication tasks.

SMSO midyear break schedule

 

During the midyear break from July 17 (Wed) to July 27 (Sat), the Sancta Maria Stella Orientis (SMSO) Oratory will observe the following schedule:

Mass 
12:05 pm only (no 7:45 am mass)

Confessions
9:00 am to 11:45 am
12 pm to 1:45 pm
*On the days when priests are available.
Please refer to the printed or online schedules for updates.

SMSO is closed on July 20 and 27 (Saturdays).

The usual schedule of Masses and Confessions will resume on July 29 (Monday).

Nakabilang sina Dr. Moreal Camba at G. Louise Vincent Amante ng Kagawaran ng Filipino sa mga piling kalahok sa Ika-4 na Saling Panitik: Bienvenido Lumbera ng Likhaan: UP Institute of Creative Writing.

Isinunod ang pangalan ng seminar kay Pambansang Alagad ng Sining Bienvenido Lumbera bilang pagkilala sa kaniyang hindi matatawarang kontribusyon sa mundo ng Wika, Panitikan, at Kulturang Filipino. Tema ngayong taon ang pagsasalin sa Filipino ng mga akda mula sa Wikang Aleman.
