UA&P Cooperative Christmas Bazaar

 

The UA&P Cooperative will hold a Christmas bazaar at the DCB Plaza from November 25 to 29 (Monday to Friday).

Everyone in the UA&P community is invited to show their support by patronizing the products.

 

 

National Book Week 2024

 

The University Library (LIB), in coordination with the University Student Government (USG), invites everyone to the celebration of National Book Week 2024 with the theme “Magbasa, Mangarap, Magdiwang” from November 4 to 8, 2024.

To join the various competitions and fun games, please pre-register on the LIB’s National Book Week event website using your uap.asia email account. Exciting prizes await the winners.

A book fair will also be held at the University Student Commons (USC) from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (November 4-8).

Save the Date: UCC 2024

 

All UA&P employees are invited to this year's University Christmas Celebration, which will be held on the 4th floor of the Parking and Sports Building on December 18 (Wednesday) at 3:00 pm.

26YP hinirang bilang may Pinakamahusay na Papel Pananaliksik sa PASADO 2024

 

Wagi bilang Best Presenter ng kanilang saliksik ang isa sa dalawang koponan ng mga mag-aaral ng 26YP na lumahok sa katatapos na ika-21 Pambansang Seminar-Worksyap ng Pampelikulang Samahan ng mga Dalubguro (PASADO).

Hinirang na Best Presenter ang grupo nina Luke Coronel, Patricia A. Cunanan, Ethan Dominic A. Cosiaco, Maria Katrina B. Quilala at Kian John L. Rigor. Ang kanilang pananaliksik na ibinahagi ay pinamagatang “Marite(Gen)Z: Neologismo, Varyasyon, Disinformation, at KaAKOhan; Pagpopook ng Salita sa Larangan ng Humanidades”.

Pinag-aralan ng kanilang pananaliksik ang etimolohiya at ebolusyon ng salitang “marites” na ginagamit sa kasalukuyan bilang neologismo ng “tsismis”. Bukod dito, kanilang ipinook ang paksa sa larangan ng Humanidades at paggamit nito sa panahon ng social media.

“Nakatataba po ng puso ang ganitong karangalan,” ayon kay Coronel, bagaman at kinakabahan sila dahil una nilang paghahapag ito ng kanilang paksa sa ganitong klaseng pagtitipon.

Bukod pa sa kanila, nagbahagi din ng kanilang pananaliksik sina Antoinette L. Angeles, Sandra Ellisha M. Fano, Cristen G. Jacobo, at Martine Isabel P. Leon. Ang ibinahagi nilang pananaliksik ay pinamagatang “Kunig: Ugnayang Kromatiko, Simbolismo at Pampolitikang Kalagayan at Ideolohiya; Pagdalumat ng Salita sa Larangang Pampolitikang Ekonomiya”.

Kasalukuyang nasa ikalawang taon ng Junior College Program ang mga nasabing mag-aaral. Pawang produkto ang kanilang mga pananaliksik ng kanilang klase sa FIL012: Pagbasa at Pagsuri ng mga Teksto tungong Pananaliksik. 

Nagsilbing tagapayo ng dalawang grupo si G. Albert Lagrimas mula sa Departamento ng Filipino ng UA&P.

Ginanap ang nasabing seminar-worksyap sa Philippine Christian University sa Taft Avenue, Maynila noong Oktubre 11 hanggang 12.
