WorkForce 2025 Connects Graduates with Leading Industries

Pasig City – UA&P successfully held its yearly Institutional Career Fair on May 8 and 9, providing a plethora of job opportunities to enthusiastic students and recent graduates. A remarkable turnout for the event, which was diligently planned by the CSA-Office of Career Services Office, showed how much demand there is for talent nationwide.

"This networking activity is a seedbed that can lead to meaningful and purposeful choices as well as interactions between companies and students, business organizations and academe, and professionals and faculty," shared Dr. Robert S. Roque, VP for Business Development and Alumni Affairs, as he welcomed and graced the opening of the event.

Over ten businesses from various industries, such as technology, banking and finance, and telecommunications, put up booths and offered a broad range of jobs, from entry-level to specialist positions and internships. Recruiters were pleased with the quality of the applicants, praising their eagerness and readiness.

"The talent pool at UA&P particularly impressed Nestlé Philippines, a leading FMCG firm," said Miguel Arceo, a talent acquisition partner for the company.  "We are eager to identify several strong candidates for our upcoming Sales Dual Learning roles and are excited about the potential of these young professionals."

In addition to hiring people directly, the fair was a fantastic way to network. Students and graduates had the opportunity to learn about other industries, corporate cultures, and professional development options. Informal discussions with business leaders yielded priceless information about the qualities and abilities that employers greatly value in the current competitive labor market.

“This event represents a major turning point in our commitment to bridging education and employment, offering our students and graduates a vital platform to explore real-world opportunities. It is more than just a gathering of employers and job seekers—it is a celebration of potential, ambition, and the future of our youth.”, Mrs. Ayza Q. Figuro, Unit Head of the CSA-OCS, expressed her support for the connections made during the event. “We thank all participating partners and organizations for believing in the talents of our students. May this job fair be a fruitful and empowering experience for all.”

The university's commitment to improving graduate employability and bridging the gap between academic preparation and professional practice was reaffirmed during the WorkForce 2025.  The event's strong participation and observable outcomes in terms of on-site hires demonstrate how important it is to empower the upcoming generation of Filipino professionals.   Building on the success of this year, preparations are already in motion for an even bigger and more significant event the following year.
