As part of the 2025 Unitas Games scheduled on February 28 (Friday), all students and employees (full-time and part-time faculty, staff, and service personnel) are invited to the Unitas Games Women's Volleyball League, which will kick off on January 24 (Friday) at the Parking and Sports Building (PSB).
There will be seven teams, composed of students, faculty, staff, and service personnel. The teams may be viewed here. Please note that there might be a possibility of merging teams depending on the number of players.

Free flu vaccines are still available for all full-time, part-time, and probationary employees. Vaccines will be administered on a first-come, first-served basis at the clinic. Those who wish to avail of flu vaccines for their dependents may email Trina Zamora at [email protected] to make the necessary arrangements.
Please note that these vaccines are available only until December 17.
The School of Sciences and Engineering Operations Committee (SSE OpCom) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mrs. Mary Chona del Castillo as the Department Chair of Science from the 2nd Semester of AY 2024-2025. She takes over from Dr. Edwin Olmos, who is set to retire by the end of the year.
Mrs. del Castillo teaches Chemistry and Science, Technology, and Society (STS) and has worked actively as a researcher in various research centers. She has published papers on marine biology in Scopus-indexed publications. She has two master's degrees from the University of Philippines Visayas and the University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia.
We thank Dr. Olmos for his dedicated service to SSE, especially as program director of the BS Industrial Engineering program and chair of the Science Department. We wish him a happy retirement and look forward to his continued service as a part-time faculty member.
