SMN prof elected to Board of top marketing & opinion research org
Mr. Anthony Victorio B. Lumicao, a faculty member of the School of Management and alumnus of UA&P's Integrated Marketing Communications program, has been elected to the Board of Directors of the Marketing and Opinion Research Society of the Philippines (MORES). MORES is the country’s leading professional organization for marketing and opinion polling agencies and market research practitioners.
Mr. Lumicao is the first academic and the first representative from UA&P to join the MORES Board of Directors in its nearly 50-year history.
He earned his master’s degree in Integrated Marketing Communications from UA&P in 2015 and a Master of Business degree in 2019 from the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) Graduate School of Business in Brisbane, Australia. His professional experience includes serving as Research Manager at Kantar Philippines from 2019 to 2022 and Research Executive at Kantar TNS from 2015 to 2018. He continues to work as a consultant for Kantar Philippines and Strategic Consumer and Media Incites.
In 2024, Mr. Lumicao was also invited to serve as a Science and Technology Consultant for the E-MarkET commercialization projects under the Department of Science and Technology - Technology Application and Promotion Institute (DOST-TAPI).
Currently, Mr. Lumicao teaches Industry and Regional Market Analysis, Business Knowledge Exchange, and Principles of Marketing to undergraduate students at the School of Management.

The College of Arts and Sciences Operations Committee is pleased to announce that Ms. Andrea Carmeli O. Abulencia has been appointed as the Officer-in-Charge (OIC) of the Department of Arts, effective the second semester of SY 2024-2025.
We thank Dr. Laya B. Gonzales, who has served as the Department Chair for the past two and a half years.

DTT Advisory: Year-End Change Freeze
The Digital Transformation and Technology Office (formerly ICT Office) will implement a change freeze from December 21, 2024, to January 4, 2025. During this time, no changes, updates, or configuration modifications to UA&P systems, applications, or infrastructure will be allowed. This is to minimize the risk of outages that may arise from changes to the university's information technology environment.

FMR Advisory: Tuition fee payment reminder
The Financial Management and Reporting Group (FMR) would like to request students with unsettled balances to settle their payments no
later than December 23, 2024.
