The 33rd Equatorial Rites

 

This year's Equatorial Rites will take place on March 21 (Friday) from 4:30 to 6:00 pm at the Li Seng Giap Auditorium.

The Equatorial Rites 2025 will honor the UA&P students from Entry Batch 2022 (under the 4-Year and 5-Year Programs) and Entry Batch 2021 (under the 6-Year and Lex Honors programs), who have successfully completed half of the course of their studies at UA&P. At this academic rite of passage, students receive a beca bearing the color of the respective School they belong to, and the University Seal.

Announcement from the School of Economics

 

The School of Economics Operations Committee is pleased to announce the following appointments, effective January 1, 2025:

  • Dr. James Caswang as Deputy Program Director of the Applied Business Economics Program (ABEP).
  • Ms. Viory Yvonne Janeo as Program Director of the BS Business Economics (BSBE) Program. 

We encourage everyone to extend their full support to Dr. Caswang and Ms. Janeo in their new roles. For any ABEP and BSBE-related inquiries, please direct them accordingly.

We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to Dr. George Manzano for his dedicated service as Program Director of ABEP over the past year and for his invaluable contributions to the School of Economics (SEC) in various capacities throughout the years.

Meditation and Merienda Get-together for Women 

 

All female faculty and staff are invited to the Meditation for Women at the ALB Oratory on March 18 (Tuesday) from 3:30 pm to 4:00 pm. This monthly 30-minute meditation offers an opportunity for female employees to pause, reflect, pray, and listen to God.

Immediately after the meditation, a merienda get-together will be held at the Executive Cafe. This activity aims to build camaraderie among female employees, foster personal and professional growth, and serve as a venue for fostering initiatives (e.g., outreach activities).
