The Junior College (JC) program would like to inform everyone that the Year 2 JC students will be taking the National Achievement Test (NAT) on February 2-3 (Thursday-Friday) from 7:00 am to 12 noon in UA&P. Everyone is requested to observe silence in the surrounding areas of the designated JC classrooms (CAS 106-109) during this time.
Examiners from the Meralco Foundation Institute (MFI) and GCF International Christian School will be on campus on both days to proctor the NAT. Dr. Manuel Legarte from the Department of Education will also be onsite to oversee the NAT implementation. We enjoin the entire UA&P community to welcome our guests from MFI, GCF International Christian School, and DepEd on both days.
The School of Management (SMN) cordially invites the UA&P faculty, managers, supervisors, and administrative staff to the second session of “A Workshop on Advanced Empirical Methods for Research” on February 8 (Wednesday).
This workshop will provide a conceptual understanding of the application of two widely used Structural Equation Model (SEM) approaches prevalent in the academic literature and businesses doing research. The workshop will focus on the understanding, interpretation, and analysis of the theoretical output and shall rely on the R software to do the heavy lifting on the statistical and computational part of the methodology.
The lecturer is Dr. Robert Roque, Assistant Professor and the Executive Director of the Center for Family Business Excellence of SMN.

The School of Education and Human Development invites everyone to its Quarterly Faculty Lecture Series on February 15 (Wednesday) from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm via Zoom. Dr. Eva Imingan, Chief Education Supervisor of the Field Technical Assistance Division of DepEd Regional Office III, will share and deliver her lecture on Leadership Roles in Curriculum Implementation: Strengthening Collaboration for Learning Recovery.
This lecture shall tackle the challenges in curriculum implementation in the schools in the current times; the multi-faceted roles and responsibilities of educators in the different governance levels; and the effective practices that are being employed in order to achieve the desired learning outcomes.
