The Assets and Facilities Management Group (AFM) invites all UA&P employees and service personnel to participate in the  bidding for various furniture, audio-visual equipment, computer peripherals, and gym equipment from December 5 (Friday) to December 12 (Friday).

These items are being sold as is, where is, with no warranty or post-sale technical service.

Bidding Guidelines:

1. Bidders may place bids on one or more available items.

2. Bids must be submitted online via email.

3. Item viewing: December 5–12, 2025
    Location: ACB Basement 2
    Time: 10:00 am – 4:00 pm

4. Bid submission: Opens December 5 and closes exactly at 2:00 pm on December 12, 2025.

5. Announcement of winners: December 13 at 1:30 pm.

6. AFM will issue the Notice of Award with payment and settlement instructions.

7. AFM may cancel or declare the bidding a failure if:

• The bid is not in the prescribed form.
• The bid is below the minimum price.
• The winning bid is not paid by December 16, 2025, or the item is not claimed within the stipulated period. In such cases, the award is cancelled and payment forfeited.

8. All expenses for claiming items (e.g., transportation) are the responsibility of the winning bidder.

Last Saturday, the Pandesal Forum at the historic Kamuning Bakery Café became a stage for diplomacy and literature, prominently featuring the UA&P Escriba Poets.

The event centered on the Manila book launch of Singapore-based Filipino poet Eric Tinsay Valles. Underscoring the importance of the gathering, Singaporean Ambassador Constance See opened the program.

Following the launch, the UA&P Escriba Poets provided a compelling poetry reading session, showcasing the University's vibrant literary talent. The group, including Dr. Joem Antonio, Mr. Vince Acgaoili, Dr. Odie Lacsamana, Dr. Mic Camba, and Ms. Juliana Odoño, energized the crowd with their performances.

The event, a memorable convergence of local talent and international recognition, was hosted by writer and Kamuning Bakery owner Wilson Lee Flores.

Itinampok sa Book Talk ng Far Eastern University (FEU) noong Nobyembre 25 ang aklat na "Ang Paglalakbay nina Horace, Longinus, at Plotinus Tungong Pilipinas: Pagsasalin ng mga Piling Tekstong Griyego" ng Kagawaran ng Filipino ng UA&P. Ginanap ang book talk sa FEU Multimedia Center bilang bahagi ng FEU Pahina Book Fair 2025.

Ibinida sa talakayan ang mahalagang gawa ng mga tagapagsalita at may-akda na sina Dr. Moreal Camba, Dr. Leodivico Lacsamana, G. Louise Vincent Amante, at G. John Errol Velasco.

Pangunahing sentro ng talakayan ang halaga ng pagsasalin ng mga klasikal na Griyegong akda sa paglalapit ng mga kaisipang ito sa kasalukuyang mambabasang Filipino. Partikular na pinag-usapan ang mga ideyang may kaugnayan sa sining ng pagsulat at paglikha, tungkulin ng manunulat, at mga pananaw hinggil sa kagandahan, kadakilaan, kahusayan, at karunungan.

Taos-pusong nagpapasalamat ang Kagawaran sa mainit na pagtanggap at pakikiisa ng komunidad ng FEU.

An article on Filipino migration by Dr. Veronica Esposo Ramirez, UA&P Full Professor and Executive Director of the University Research Office, has been featured in Routed, an international online magazine dedicated to global mobility and migration issues, through the United Nations-related International Organization for Migration's (IOM) iDiaspora global platform.

The article, titled “Filipino health workers: Partners for health care in the Nordic countries,” highlights the essential role and growing contributions of Filipino professionals within Nordic health-care systems. She draws on a 2023 research study involving interviews, surveys, and group discussions to trace the experiences of these migrant workers: from initial deployment and language requirements to long-term job satisfaction and social integration.
