UA&P, Phildiz Studios, & Galerie Joaquin Launch “Giving heART” to Restore Cultural Venue

The University of Asia and the Pacific (UA&P), in partnership with Phildiz Studios and Galerie Joaquin, proudly launches “Giving heART: Restoring the Legacy, Transforming the Future”—an art-driven fundraising initiative supporting the renovation of the Celestino M. Dizon Auditorium, a long-standing venue for artistic and cultural expression at UA&P.

For decades, the Dizon Auditorium has served as a hub for plays, concerts, workshops, and exhibits, embodying UA&P’s commitment to holistic education rooted in the liberal arts. Now, with time having taken its toll, the space is in urgent need of restoration and modernization.

"Giving heART" aims to raise funds for this purpose through a digital catalogue sale featuring curated works by emerging and established Filipino artists. Running from June to September 2025, the campaign also includes a silent auction of ten limited-edition fine art nature photographs by renowned photographer Philip Dizon.

The initiative will culminate in an on-site exhibit in September 2025 at the Dizon Auditorium on the UA&P Ortigas Campus, where guests can view the featured artworks in person. All proceeds will go directly to the auditorium’s renovation.

"Giving heART" underscores the vital role of the arts in education—and the importance of preserving spaces that nurture creativity, culture, and community.
